"We loved our two weeks here. Clean, new, quiet, lovely rooftop eating and swimming, even if only a small heated pool. The staff are welcoming, helpful and on the ball.
The tradeoff is being away from the busy tourist zone in a less expensive place but with all of PV accessible. It was a 12 minute walk from the nearest beach or bus to town, or alternatively. a $7-10 CDN uber ride to any downtown spot or Malecon. Ubers are cheap and comfortable. Then, after play, back to the hotel oasis.

"I was hesitant to stay at an all-inclusive resort, but was pleasantly surprised. The food was very tasty and the pool drink staff were very attentive. For the most part kids stayed in the kid pool so the adult pool was very relaxing.
My room was modern and very clean. My only complaint is that a lot of the noise from foot traffic kept me awake a couple of nights"
