"Ideal stay for Winchester or just a relaxing trip. The hotel is quite spread out so if disabled or can’t walk far I suggest asking for a room close to reception. Maintenance staff were fantastic. Cleaning staff great. Bar staff friendly. Highly recommend. Definitely going back. "

"Very good location. Pub staff very friendly and professional particularly Alex who was excellent. Nice menu with a variety of options all prepared and presented extremely well. Nice room, but did have to ask for a change of sheets after 6 days. Would also have liked a grab bar in the shower. My wife and I are seniors and were nervous about slipping. However, have to say the shower was the easiest to use of any hotel we have stayed in. Highly recommended !"

The building is a delightful example of a traditional coaching house and in perfect location to explore the area and attractions. My room was cosy and comfortable with everything I needed. Will definitely try and book here again next time I have an event to attend in the area."

"Hotel is in an amazing location. It had a lovely set up with attractive looking bar & lounge area. Breakfast was just right with good hot & cold choices. Room was lovely & comfortable with good views of the cathedral, only slight criticism was the bathroom was a bit tired, there’s lots of marks on the floor & the bath seemed heavily stained but it did still seem clean. All the staff we encountered were all friendly, approachable & professional. We would definitely stay here again."

"Only stayed one night, and they accommodated a very late check-in of 2:30am due to a delayed flight. When we woke up we were able to appreciate the gorgeous scenery. Rooms were clean and they provide coffee, tea and creamer in the room. "
