"This resort is beautiful. It’s also fun. We loved it. The only complaint is the dinner food. Breakfast and lunch at the pool bar were good, but dinner? Not good at all. The sushi place was pretty good and room service was ok but everything else was barely edible. We aren’t foodies so we still managed to make it work and have a great time. But it’s something to consider if a great fancy dinner on vacation is important to you. Also, the upgrade wasn’t worth it. "

If there is any recommendation I can make to the resort management is to provide a better orientation to guests when they arrive, perhaps make an app. We were given little information upon arrival and spent a lot of time trying to navigate the resort and what happens when. "The staff was amazing and so helpful!!! You can not stay at a better resort in all of Cozumel for beauty and luxury! With that being said, the all inclusive food… not good! The buffets felt like frozen meals that were reheated and thrown out there. As the days grew e knew what not to get and it was still a good option to have for the days you don’t want to leave! I would recommend getting a buggy for a few days if you want to experience authentic Mexican food! I think we set our expectation too...

"This is our second stay at Grand Park Royal in Cozumel. We had a wonderful time again. The rooms are nice with a stocked fridge and balcony. They were cleaned daily. The food leaves a little to be desired but it’s free. We would prefer more breakfast options at the food bar. There are plenty of activities to do while on the resort. We will be back. "
