"Very impressive large property. The person at check-in was fantastic. It is not close to downtown, but not a negative if you are aware of that. Large enough resort that you would not have to leave the property. Loved the hourly free shuttle to down town. Appreciated the free self parking (close to resort entry), as we had just paid $80/night for parking at our previous hotel. "

"This property and room was really clean and in a great location. Front desk had issues with the computer due to lighting strike to Hotel. Could not get my receipt upon check out but did get a copy of it in my email. Breakfast was OK and simple. Would have liked to get hot items to eat instead of simple make your own sandwiches. "

"The room was clean, updated, staff was friendly, and our stay was overall a good experience. I only lowered my rating to 4 stars because the pool was out of commission after our first day, the view from our high floor window was of dumpsters only, and I do not like the frosted glass bathroom door for a family hotel stay. If one person goes to the bathroom in the night, the light is bright enough to wake everyone else up!"

"My stay was good. The rooms just need maintenance. Air vents had black mold, shower drain had an impure smell when the shower was being used. The Reflections restaurant had some very nasty, undone buffalo wings. Waterscapes restaurant has some of the best food at Myrtle. Overall good stay. Quiet, secluded, away from the noise. Secluded beach is a plus. I enjoyed every bit of it. "

"Fire department very prompt to respond to a false alarm due to room smoke detector but could not watch US OPEN because the channel it was on was all fuzy and maintenance could not correct the problem. All quite comical."
