"Overall very good choice for a few days in Townsville. Clean motel style room and bathroom. Good wifi TV etc. Quiet apart from the odd Stone Curlew; but possibly a little noisy if there is a Cowboys game on the weekend. Woolworth’s a short walk away. 10 minutes to restaurants in South Townsville. Staff friendly and could not have been more helpful. "

"We absolutely loved the nice and spacious Pool at the Rooftop with a nice View of magnetic island. Initially we only wanted to stay for a night on our way to cairns but we ended up extending by one night as we really loved it. Big and spacious room, I’ve never had that much space to put things, especially in the bath room. We parked our car just outside the hotel for free. Not too much in walking distance in terms of restaurants etc which was fine for us though."

"Great motel to suit a family - we enjoyed our stay here but our main complaint is the noisy neighbour above our unit who was dragging furniture and making noise until 1am (multiple nights) so I’d suggest booking a first floor room to avoid this. It was too cold to use the pool but it looked nice and the reception and cleaning staff were all very friendly and helpful (we chose to only get our room made up once but asked for extra towels and toilet paper "

"We were a party of 3 staying in two rooms...they were compact, clean and comfortable. The only downfall was the fixed window electric blind allowed exterior light of common areas in around the edges. The room door had a vinyl covering over the glass which was also not light proof. If you like a dark room to sleep you might not find this so good. "
