"Very spacious room and bathroom, very clean and very quiet. The room had an A/C unit and this was the heater too. There was a communal kitchen free to use which had coffee machine and hot water for making a tea and there was a fridge in there. The rooms are on the third floor and the rear of the property overlooks the old amphitheater which is now a square with a few restaurants. "The Room was perfect, Location is a short 5 minute walk to the train station. A stocked and very clean Kitchen was great, Deborah the owner is very nice, she takes great pride in making her property beautiful. Full disclosure there is a bar on the first floor so you hear people talking till late in the evening. If that doesn’t bother you the property is perfect. We would stay again."

"Although we only had one night, it was New Year's Eve. The fireworks and party were just outside the hotel, but it was still nice and quiet in the room. Great location for everything walkable, including a great walking path on top of the old city wall. Great food options close any time of day."

"Love, Love, Love this place! As well as the two lovely ladies ( Ingrid and Marta) that make it even more special. They were always so kind and helpful. Having the delicious breakfast every morning was wonderful. The hotel is spotlessly clean, and extremely comfortable. The location is absolutely perfect, with every thing worth seeing within easy walking distance. There is nothing else that you could ask for. I will definitely be back again…"

"The rooms were very spacious and clean and the beds were vety comfortable. Everybody was so kind and helpful and the breakfast was delicious. My only regret was not being able to stay another night as we were traveling to Assisi the next day. The locat to Lucca was also perfect and tge drive into the walled city was less than two minutes. I can't say enough great things about our hostess and her mom. They we absolutely sweet and wonderful people. The next time, I will use La Chiuso Delle Monache...

"B&B (pas le grand luxe, mais propre, commode, agréable (on n'en demande pas plus!) bien situé à proximité de l'enceinte de la vieille ville avec possibilité de se garer. On s'auto-enregistre (on ne voit personne quand on arrive) mais tout est très bien organisé: message Whatsapp et feuilles d'instruction, plan de la ville, feuille de conseils (restaurants,...) Quand on voit les propriétaires (au petit déjeuner par exemple) on apprécie leur accueil et gentillesse."
