I can’t rate this guesthouse highly enough. Great value for money in a perfect location, right in the centre of the old town of Lucca. The host was very responsive and available if needed.

What a great place to stay. An unbelievable location overlooking the piazza. Valentina felt like an old friend helping us with check in and anything that we might need. The common kitchen was a delightful surprise!

A gem in the heart of Lucca

Valentina is the best hostess you can have. I highly recommend this place! Everything works perfectly smooth from check in to check out. The rooms are spotless. And the view from the kitchen is spectacular.

Very spacious room and bathroom, very clean and very quiet. The room had an A/C unit and this was the heater too. There was a communal kitchen free to use which had coffee machine and hot water for making a tea and there was a fridge in there. The rooms are on the third floor and the rear of the property overlooks the old amphitheater which is now a square with a few restaurants. There are a number of shops and other places to eat within a very short walk. The bus station was a comfortable 15 min walk and the train station is around 20mins. It was also only 10mins walk to get to the city walls for a walk around over the city. The property is very centrally located and the host was very pleasant and very welcoming including messaging us beforehand to make arrangements. A great 1 night stay in a fabulous small walled city and lovely accommodation. A little gem

The host Valentina really makes this property worth staying at. She is easily the most attentive host I've ever had in Lucca. Very friendly, great recommendations, and keeps the property spotless. There is also a kitchen on the property. It's not fancy, but there is a fridge, some snacks, coffee and tea. The kitchen itself has a great view of the ampitheatre and is worth checking out. The actual location is fairly central to most things as well. The location can get a little noisy, but as the night goes on it tends to quiet down. I highly recommend this property and would stay here again. It's very fairly priced and a great location. The only thing is, if you're here and need to get work done, the Deluxe room I stayed in didn't have chairs or a desk. The kitchen works well as a substitute. WARNING: If you have bad knees, need a wheelchair, or are bringing a lot of luggage and aren't particularly strong, you do have to bring your bags up 3 stories of narrow stairs. There is no elevator. Valentina can help you, but if you're not great with stairs, you'll be going up and down everytime you want to return to your room.
