Hotel Dekat Kelab Golf Chipping Norton

"Initially booked a two night stay but cut this short to one night after a horrid experience. We stayed here during the height of the 2026 summer heat wave. The hotel DID have air conditioning, but there was a sign in the room essentially stating that it was broken / deactivated. Upon speaking to the unbothered reception staff, it was discovered that the hotel once had air conditioning, but it had broken years ago and wouldn't be repaired. The room was stiflingly hot. "Great helpful staff"

"Absolutely beautiful room."

"Didn't get my cide to get into property had to call hotels.com. The stairs are very awkward with small children. Heating Didn't work correctly gor first three days. Kitchen needs more cutlery ( knife & spoon). "

"Fantastic stay in the cottage - immaculately presented room with loads of space and a very nice selection of snacks. The staff in the Inn were incredibly welcoming and made for a totally relaxed break. Food at dinner and breakfast was delicious. Cannot recommend highly enough"

"I enjoyed my 3 night visit. I found the staff pleasant and the hotel a nice ambience. My room was a little tired but everything I needed. I will stay again. Great value for money."

"Super team made me feel very welcome and were always available. Clean, comfortable room. Nice breakfast and plenty of parking"

"Staff very friendly and welcoming. Continental breakfast was very basic. Accommodation was clean and comfortable. Restaurant service was slow at times. Ideal location for a stay in the Cotswolds."

"Excellent breakfast."

"Great menu - dinner and breakfast excellent- room very clean and well equipped- would definitely recommend"

"The room was clean and the bed comfortable. The team were helpful. Unfortunately in our room (5) you could hear the neighbouring bathroom. Breakfast was OK but could be improved with fruit and a variety of bread being readily available."

There is also no electric sockets in the bathroom for any shavers or electric toothbrushes. We couldn’t drink the tap water or even use for tea or coffee due to the soft water conditioner. Having said all of that we would definitely return but would...

"The reception was very welcoming and helpful. The facilities were great for an old building. It was very conveniently situated and would recommend to others"
