"There was no spa pool, tried to make a booking before our stay for a massage, was sent a message staying our request was waitlisted? When arrived at the hotel we were told there was no availability for massages on any of the 3 days we were staying so in my opinion little point in calling yourself a spa hotel if you have 1 part time person available to do massages "

"Property was very pet friendly and staff were wonderful. There were however issues with the room which impacted our stay. The mattress was very hard and pillows soft and lumpy. Due to this our quality of sleep was very poor. The rooms did not come with a small fridge which would have been helpful as chilled food had to be taken to reception each time. There was no ironing board in the room and no telephone so each time you needed something you had to take a long walk to reception and back. Apart from those issues, everything was perfect. "

"Bedding had mold spots on , so had to go and buy our own bedding for our stay , accomadation had no key to lock door , internet which has been paid for was poor."

"Had a lovely stay at Windsor cottage. Well presented, great amenities and the most comfortable bed in the master bedroom. Slept like a log! Ate out in local restaurants, which were lovely especially Alberto’s Italy. There are a couple of free parking areas in town 5-10 minutes away. During our stay there was a film set in place for Father Brown and a restriction at the end of the road. It didn’t take away from our stay, but was glad of the premier inn parking just a 100m away. We pulled up to the cottage easily to drop off but when the film set was in place that week only, we carried back to the premier inn really close car park. At the time only £3 a night if you pay in the machine right by the premier inn entrance, as advised by their staff. Worked really well. Would highly recommend using it for the cottage as it made coming and going from the cottage really easy with lots of spaces. (The only very tiny issues to highlight to the owners need to maintain the path out the back of the property, to make more pleasant use of the back gate for rubbish. Also just some maintenance like the blind in the bathroom) However I would definitely book again as it’s a great base for Blenheim and the rest of the beautiful Cotswolds. One bathroom which has a massive shower, the lounge was cosy with a log burner and the kitchen was well appointed for our short stay. We really enjoyed our stay at Windsor Cottage. Thank you!"
