"We loved our stay at Stone Wheel cottage. The property is lovely and spacious, the pool is nice, the owners are very helpful and we loved the village. Look forward to returning again in the future."

"Good points: Staff were friendly, accommodation was clean and tidy and food provision and bar was satisfactory. Poor points: The room was pretty sparse and lacking any warmth or character as were the rest of the facilities. We didn’t try the Spa or Golf, so can’t comment on this. gym, sauna, hot tub type facilities (which I would be happy to pay for) are pretty standard in most ‘Spa’ hotels so I felt a bit cheated. "The bedroom was spacious and clean. Everywhere was clean and in good condition - no peeling paint or mustiness you sometimes get with old buildings. The staff could not do enough for you. Everywhere was warm and comfortable. The bars were busy enough to have ambience, but not packed. The pool was brill."

"Quiet location in a pretty village near the church. The room was lovely with a comfortable bed, and the bar and restaurant were very welcoming.Excellent dinner and breakfast. The staff were all very friendly and helpful. The only issue we had was with the very poor wi-fi connection in the room."
