"We couldn’t say enough about our stay! The grounds were beautiful, the rooms were very clean with a great Italian flare. There is lots of history to the property that we enjoyed. We loved our wine tour, and Thomas was extremely knowledgable and friendly throughout our experience. The resort was quiet and peaceful, with only a 20minute taxi to Florence we were still able to explore the nearby city. The front desk was extremely helpful and every worker went above and beyond. And all of the buildings had been beautifully restored to return it to originally and feel, but to include all the modern amenities. "This property has been under renovation for the past few years, with about another year of construction still to go. They are transforming an old winery into what will eventually be a 5- or 6-star resort, complete with a spa and other amenities. We stayed for two nights with our 11- and 13-year-olds and booked a family suite.
