"Monica was the friendliest most enthusiastic host we’ve stayed with. Everything from her greeting to the amazing breakfast was perfect. She does a lot of baking, so the breakfast was really a treat and you could also get eggs cooked in various ways. The room was a little small but very comfortable. Parking was on the street, but it was fairly close and easy."

"It was wonderful to stay in a castle in Tuscany no less Every person we met was attentive and kind We were staying near friends and didn’t hang around the grounds much or use the pool but everything seemed well kept It’s really a place to retreat to eat at and sleep at which served our purpose well "

"Pros: 1. Beautiful property with an amazing view. 2. Spacious family suite 3. Comfortable bed 4. Quiet, waking up to birds singing in the morning. Cons: 1. Stink bugs in the suite; once we understood they are common this time of year and easy to capture and release outside, it was ok. 2. Showers are very small. 3. A/C not turned on this time of year; was not offered fans until the last day. 4. Minimal amenities. 5. Few outlets The villa is beautiful, just be prepared for a “rustic”...

"A lovely stay at this property with our 2 year old.The apartment had everything we needed and communication with the host was very good There are steep hills to access the property by car or foot so bear that in mind but we managed fine with a pram and a car its just worth noting Handy to have laundry facilities on site aswell. "Hotel located in a gorgeous mountain settings, the views absolutely stunning, the food was ok, fresh and decent choices on the menu. Room was very clean, but moldy smell was still in the room. The service was excellent. Spa i was not impressed at all. Chlorine smell inside the facility, average massage treatment, would not recommend it. Outdoor pool has breath taking views, in the summer time it will be the best place to spend your mornings or evenings to watch Sunrise and Sunsets. Overall I do recommend to visit this place for at least a few days."

"A Tuscan Gem with Unmatched Hospitality We had a wonderful stay at Villa I Barronci Resort & Spa! From the moment we arrived, the staff made us feel incredibly welcome with their warm and attentive service. Our rooms were spotless and well-maintained, providing a comfortable retreat after a day of exploring. We also had a fantastic dinner at the resort. The food was absolutely delicious and a true highlight of our visit. While there was some construction taking place during our stay, it truly didn't take away from the natural beauty of the grounds. The resort is situated in the perfect location for visiting Tuscany’s most scenic spots, and the nearby town of San Casciano in Val di Pesa is such a quaint, lovely place to walk around. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a beautiful and welcoming base in the heart of Chianti! "
