"We stayed over at The Pied Bull and absolutely loved it. From the moment we walked in, the atmosphere was welcoming and full of character – you can really feel the history of the place, but it’s cosy and relaxed at the same time. The staff were friendly, attentive and clearly take pride in what they do. The food was excellent – hearty, well-cooked and full of flavour. Everything came out hot and beautifully presented. "

"A wonderful location right on the Dee Estuary. Although there’s no flowing water we sat on the terrace and enjoyed a glass of wine in the evening sun and watched the world and wildlife go by. Our evening meal was great as was breakfast. A lovely big room, very clean and comfortable. All in all a great stay. "
