"Room was ok for the price and the pool was nice. If you are handicapped and in a wheelchair or walker, the hallway, room and bathroom will not be big enough to go through even in a small equipment. "Designated parking spot right in front of unit… very convenient. Accurate description of the property and it was very clean. Overall Galveston is not the nicest area but we felt safe here and it was a short drive to the beach. Would definitely stay here again. I would recommend bringing sheets for the pull out sofa if you need it… I’m not sure there were any. Also very convenient to have laundry in the unit. Newer washer/dryer…worked great. "

"Pictures make it look super nice. When we got there, the drapes looked dirty, smelled like moisture/kinda moldy. I get it since we’re close to the Seawall but other places don’t smell like that. "The Emerald property was a great place to stay. It was close to the beach, right across the street. The pool and hot tub were amazing and we spent a lot of time there. The residents who live there and the staff were so friendly. We had some rainy days so we enjoyed the game room and the theater room. Our condo was very clean. I would give it 5 stars but the beds and furniture are in need of updating. We would stay here again. "
