"I stayed in room 208 the tub stopper didnt work so the water didnt drain out the tub while I took a shower, the bathroom sink didnt have hot water. The staff was nice, the breakfast was good. I've stayed here alot and it was always excellent I have no complaints just hope the fix the problems for the next guest."

"Very clean. Super nice staff at front desk. Easy parking. Much quieter on this side of the French quarter but still easy to walk to Jackson Square, Frenchman Street, French Market etc. Also great location if you are visiting Bywater area."

"Beautiful hotel, great staff, little bar area, and french toast restaurant for breakfast was great. Area however is disgusting. I would never stay in the French Quarter again. We were they a few years ago and the area has so deteriorated since then. Lots and lots of homeless living on the streets, sleeping, getting high and defacating. Also spent 1/2 of the morning listening to trash trucks outside our window. Do not stay in this area!"

"The property and room was very clean. Staff was very kind, friendly, and helpful. The property is conveniently located next to all major locations in the heart of the French Quarter. Everything is within walking distance and quick easy access to the Streetcar stops which along with the bus lines get you to other parts of the City. Will definitely stay at this property again."

"From the moment we checked in until we checked out two days later, this was an outstanding experience. The rooms were excellent, clean and well stocked, the staff were incredibly welcoming and helpful, the on-site bar and restaurant were quite good, and they made parking a breeze (via valet). Convenient to everything you’d want to do in New Orleans, the Mazarin is a great place to rest and refresh. We will definitely be staying there again; highly recommended!"

"I am not really sure why the reviews here so poorly match the state of the hotel. It’s run down and a more than a bit grubby. The staff are lovely and helpful and do their best to take care of you but it doesn’t really make up for the fact that the hotel needs some serious upkeep. "

"Staff was very accommodating. Amenities like bottled water, coffee, espresso, small snacks were welcome and plentiful. Location afforded easy access to the French Quarter and Bourbon Street, and also mitigated the noisy crowds and atmosphere of the party scene. The variety of rooms available adds curiosity to a return visit in the future to try them out. Overall pleasant experience."
