"It's an old building there aren't really any amenities there's a couple restaurants near by but nothing special. Don't select a room in the basement because it's exactly what it sounds like you're in a legit basement of what looks like an old jail house room was tiny 1 queen bed and just enough room to walk around the bed.
Not sound proofed at all you can hear every person in the hallway talking or loud talkers next time."

"We have stayed at Stone Gate a number of times over the years. First the positive, comfortable bed and there is a nice breakfast in the morning. Unfortunately the first room we got, a 8" chunk of plaster had fallen from the ceiling by the bed, and there was another chunk ready to fall. The next room we got was an upgrade, but there were bits of plaster stuck to the bathroom floor and both lights in the vanity area did not work. (The light in the shower/toilet area worked). We hope Stone Gate...

"When we walked into our room we noticed muddy footprints on the floor leading from the patio door that opened to the parking lot. We also had ants in our bathroom and in the entrance way. Both issues we taken to the front desk attendant who replied with “that’s not very common, I’ll talk to my manager to see what can be done”. Nothing was done during our stay. We didn’t spend much time in our room because we took the GO transit into Toronto but it still would have been nice to have the floor...
