Amazing view and very clean room. The dinning room serves breakfast, lunch and dinner and has quite charming atmosphere. The staff were quite friendly and accommodating. The only real drawback is that the outdoor equipment including the limited lawn chairs need updating.

This is a gorgeous property that is slowly going through renovations. We stayed in a very large renovated suite, which was perfect for the family. There is a small beach with chairs, perfect for kids, and, depending on the weather, they start a fire pit in the evening. Non-motorized boating was available. The food at the restaurant is excellent; we didn't feel the need to go anywhere else to eat. Overall, I would highly recommend this place for a family getaway that is also affordable.

We stayed in the newer section and it was wonderful. Beautiful rooms, very clean and spacious. Restaurant is beautiful with great views and the service was excellent. However the food was 'average' at best. Quite disappointing actually. And there is a lot of updating needed to the grounds and outside of the buildings. A lot of rotting wood structures and lots of weeds in the gardens. Overall we liked our stay. Loved the hotel and the room. Didn't get a chance to utilize the spa unfortunately.

Great location for a quick break from the city. The restaurant offered a delicious selection of food, and the staff is amazing. Very friendly and helpful. The rooms in the older section of the building are a bit run down. The rooms are tiny, bedding was a bit stained, didn’t love that the sheets didn’t cover the mattresses fully, so often times the mattress and bedframe was exposed. Bathroom looked renovated and was clean. Waterview balcony wasn't very private, neighbours could walk right by and see into our room. Overall, I would recommend. However, I would look into a room on the newer side of the building.

The service and the staff were excellent and helpful. However, the dinner that I ordered was not great unfortunately. (I had the chicken pasta that came with a lime infused creamy sauce.) I think it could’ve been great. I am by no means a chef, but I am a good cook, and I would have definitely and seriously browned the chicken that was part of that pasta. For me, when I go to a resort, the food is probably the most important thing/paramount! Hope that helps! Best Peter

All staff helped us with our bags and were very friendly. Outside sliding door, lawn chair and curtains were broken and room was only replenished once in 4 days. We were overcharged on Expedia which made our stay much more expensive. Restaurant was good but very pricey ($30 salad). Grounds were lovely but need some attention ( deck badly needs to be painted, railing was wobbly). There should be two chairs at each room to sit outside. The restaurant staff were awesome and so was the food. The spas were amazing but the pool should be closed for maintenance. Parking was good. Loved the balcony view of the water wild life, beautiful.

The pool area has mold, cobwebs, dehumidifiers caked with mold, pool floor needs cleaning, ceilings are moisture damaged and walls are peeling due to humidity/water damage. Rooms were gorgeous, very clean and the view was beautiful. The staff is absolutely wonderful. Especially Shay Lynn who helped us during check in. Bright, bubbly and makes you feel welcome. Coffee, toiletries and tea were restocked each day.
