"It was an amazing experience. It is a shame that it is further to Quinta da Regaleira than what Expedia advertises but it is still walking distance, just mot 10 min and rather 30 minutes. The staff was extremely nice and the breakfast delicious "

"We had a wonderful stay at the Lawrence. The bed was the most comfortable out of all our stays so far in Portugal. From our check in to breakfast it was perfect. The young lady at breakfast was a delight and had many great suggestions. "

"Location was walkable into old town, train station, tour buses (434, 435 located at the train station) and sintra bus station. Our room was in the back, therefore nice and quiet. Enjoyed cup of tea on the upper terrace looking onto the patio. Staff very informative. Only thing missing is a small refrigerator in the room. Good restaurants nearby. Little fruit stand/convenience store across street. Pingo Doce grocery storea bit of a hike but worth it."

"Staying here was absolutely fantastic! The whole place is beautiful and feels very cozy. A lot of love was put into the tasteful interior design. The room was perfect, very comfortable and equipped with a big TV and a Nespresso machine. It was very quiet as well. The breakfast was excellent. Fresh, high quality products and a lot of options. Douglas and his team are absolutely lovely and make every guest feel welcome. Don‘t miss out on this gem!"

"The room was spotless with king sized bed. AC/heater, and good tv and internet connection. There was a bathroom two steps up including a small enclosed shower and claw foot tub with sink and toilet. All was fresh and clean. There was also a small alcove with a twin bed on the same level as the bath."
