"Smart and comfortable hotel with very helpful staff. We booked the family room which was actually 2 interconnecting rooms and very good value for the price paid. Rooms are cool and stylish, great air con as we visited in a heat wave. Handy for Porte garibaldi. Various shops and restaurants nearby. Would stay again."
"The hotel had all the amenities we needed and was conveniently located. The staff is friendly and responsive. Breakfast is delicious and in a large room with a stunning view of downtown Milan. Beds are comfortable and rooms were nicely air conditioned in the heat wave we experienced in Milan. The only negative comment I would have is that the colours in rooms are dark and look a bit dated, but that isn’t a deal breaker. We recommend the hotel and would stay there again. "
Excelsior Hotel Gallia, a Luxury Collection Hotel, Milan
10/10 Excellent
"Room 226 has great views over central station. Room size was spacious with all the amenities of chargeable mini bar, slippers, shoe shine etc. very comfortable big bed. Bathroom was well equipped with toiletries, shower cap, vanity pack. There was also plenty of towels too. Rain fall shower head needs changing and it’s very hard and difficult to open the tap for the shower. It was very stiff and had no grip.
Shame during our stay the main restaurant was closed for refurbishment. Breakfast was good with variety but no vegetarian or halal sausages. Overall we had a pleasant stay and would recommend this hotel to friends and family."
