"This beachfront hotel was our stop after a long, hilly bike ride from Palafrugell. The room was spacious, clean and comfortable for two tired cycle tourists. Note, they are pretty much the only restaurant open in the area during November for dinner. Much to our surprise. The buffet on offer was good with lots of variety to choose from. The same goes for breakfast buffet, which was delicious fuel for our ride to Barcelona. Kudos to the two waitstaff who were working hard keeping up with the many people dinning there. The other note, there is room in the little luggage storage for bikes, but you have to carry your bikes up the outdoor stairs to the lobby."

"The hotel is stunning — spacious, modern rooms, great bars and restaurants, and a fantastic pool area. However, there are a few drawbacks: there’s no beach access (areal photos are misleading), and frequent corporate events with loud music often go on until midnight, which can spoil the atmosphere. The breakfast buffet is extensive, but the quality doesn’t fully match a true 5-star standard. Overall, an impressive place, just not ideal if you’re after quiet relaxation."

"Nice compact room."

"The room was small for 4. Beds blocked the wardrobe. There was a double balcony but the entrance to half of it was blocked by a fake wall. It was noisy, with the balcony overlooking the neighbouring hotel with loud air conditioning units. The pool was nice and there was free parking nearby. It was a short walk to restaurants and the beach. Breakfast was good but the staff were militant about taking a pastry out if the dining room with me, literally chasing after me to shout at me. "

"It's definitely an old hotel but the overall atmosphere is nice. Very lively in the lobby and around the (nice) pool because of the young travellers. Only minutes rom the beach but a 30 minutes walk from the "main" strip."

"great place to stay. 15 metres from the train station. lovely enclosed pool so shade somewhere all day, enormous breakfast, varied and good quality evening meal. I was there during the Spanish countrywide electricity outages and the staff went out of their way to help guests who couldn’t travel onwards to spend the night in the lounges which was exceptionally gracious- well done "
