"The service was top-notch. The staff was friendly and eager to help. Veici(don’t know how to spell his name unfortunately) is a great host, ready to help with any questions you have. The hotel is very close to anything you could want or need, perfectly placed between the beach, shops and city centre. The hotel is also very clean(the staff make sure to clean the rooms everyday) and the breakfast is big, good and free. Me and my parents really enjoyed our stay here and would be delighted to come...

AQUA Hotel Silhouette & Spa - Adults Only

"Outstanding. We absolutely loved our week at this hotel, with the only minor criticism being the music (which became very annoying) played on the terrace near the bar. However, this is of course a subjective criticism and the staff would turn it down if asked. The hotel is spotlessly clean, very tastefully decorated and furnished. The 3 pools (one of which is heated) are crystal clear, and the outdoor area has been very well thought out and planted with care. It’s a place that you want to spend time in. In fact, so much so, that we hardly left the hotel for the whole week. We couldn’t fault the staff with everyone being extremely friendly, helpful and fun. It struck us that they seemed to exhibit a lot of pride in their work, and this came out in their focus on attention to details. We think that the management team have done a great job in training, and engendering this spirit in their people. We opted for half board, and both breakfast and evening meals offered a wide choice of dishes. Some really healthy eating options too. Great fresh food. The direct bus from Barcelona airport stops about 100m from the entrance making travel very simple. A big thank you to everyone there, and we will almost certainly go back again. "

a great place to stay

"large single room, recently decorated with secure access to shaded shared terrace with table & 2 chairs (although none in room) stayed during power outages with no lights & water from 9pm until 07.45 am the next day so difficult to prepare for 06.30 departure (which never happened of course). the food is truly wonderful with quality ingredients at dinny& breakfast (pulled pork one night, lamb ribs another, fresh tuna, etc. the hotel coped with the power outages wonderfully well and are to be congratulated in this. they also allowed up to 25 “ex guests” to camp out in the lounge overnight as there was nowhere else for them to go - very compassionate "

"We had a lovely stay in this hotel. I admit the rooms were very dated and needed repairs, so dont expect luxury. As for the location of this hotel it was fantastic. You could not get any closer to the beach and the outside bar area and seating area was very pretty with great beach views. This hotel is also situated by lots of shops and restaurants. We had a very enjoyable stay."

Clean hotel with comfortable beds.

"Not a bad hotel although the restaurant was very loud and noisy at all times. Worse on one night when a DJ was blasting out music that you could not hear as it was too loud and just the beat. Some discipline in the lines for the buffet would be helpful as it is a bit of a free for all. Food was good. There was something for everyone. Room was clean and comfortable. Idle for a short stop over on route. "

Ok for a 1 night stay.

"The rooms are small and outdated. They offer little to no comp toiletries. The beds are small and uncomfortable. Our door was not accepting any cards to open with so we had to be escorted upstairs every time with an employee, don’t see why they couldn’t put us in a different room. The downstairs bar area was lovely. On the 1 night we were there, they had entertainment with Portuguese dancers and everyone joined in. The breakfast is cheap. Low quality servings but it matched the rest of the hotel. "

"Our stay at Aparthotel Iris was fantastic. The location is great, literally a minute walk to the beach and few minutes walk to the train station. There are bars and restaurants on the doorstep of the property and others not too far away. The ownership were very amenable and helpful with anything we needed. The apartments themselves are clean, spacious and equipped with all you could need during your stay. We had our dog with us and he immediately felt at home. We will definitely go back to this property when we return to Malgrat de Mar. "
