Cast Iron Historic District Hotels with Air Conditioning

"Wonderful staff! They did their best to make our stay a great one, though they were very limited by the run-down property. There is no central AC/heat and our window unit was in terrible condition and duct-taped to the windows. It made a horrible noise when on, so we couldn't keep it on while we slept. We were offered another room when one became available, but it required us to be there at noon on one of the days and we were out and about with plans so it wasn't feasible. The location is great for walking to Times Square and broadway but be sure to consider the noise and light at night. Large blinds did nothing to help with the light at night and closing them means closing off the window AC."

"Wonderful, welcoming, helpful folks throughout. Great location ( especially if, like us, you’re attending an event at MSG). The room was tiny, however, that is normal in many NYC hotels so it was not unexpected. Beds were very comfortable"

"The price was right but the rooms are small (typical for NYC) and very, very old. The bathroom/shower are also not great. The hotel needs an update badly, especially the rugs, but then it would probably be less affordable. The location is great and very convenient!"
