When checking into second room they never moved the bags and the concierge was not very informative. The air con didn't work so after wasting about 4 hours had to move rooms. "We had a lovely stay, bit of a confusion over the booking when we arrived, as we had clicked 'breakfast included' on expedia, but this wasn't. Alvin was fantastic and sorted out. Hotel is located about a 20 min walk or 5 mins on the tram to the centre. Tram stop is outside. Breakfast is awesome, loads of choices. Would definitely stay again."

"Is based on busy intersection. I checked in on Saturday night. Very busy, lots of people noisey. Was right by lift. Clean room but lots of road noise and screaming from reverse bungy but is right in center of surfers so well placed. Pool looked grubby so didnt use. Staff were helpful and nice"

"The check-in process after hours needs to be improved. We were locked out and the after hours wall phone in between the two automatic doors was dead. All of the light switches gave substantial electric shocks to my wife and I. Overall the unit is showing every part of its 50+ year age, including the bedroom doorknob that came off while attempting to use the bathroom in the middle of the night (along with most towel rails etc loose). Bedroom fan very noisey, keeping us up through the night....

"Great Location! Front desk staff were polite and friendly and resolved any qualms I had. Hotel is in a great location close to convention centre, casino and beach. Obviously due to the age of the property the room itself is tired with clunky wooden furniture that is showing wear and tear. The room is spacious, with a big modern tv and great ocean view , however the decor needs to be updated to keep up with the times of what a modern beach hotel should look like."

"I liked that tram was right next to it the hotel, was convenient to go shopping the room I stayed had a nice view of some parts of the beach, Staff were friendly welcoming and helpful, 5 to 10min walk close to beach, restaurants and cafes. Breakfast was average the variety of the basics it was convenient to have and go to our daily activities"
