"This was the third time we have stayed at this Hotel as we love the Location and the price. The Breakfast this time was fabulous especially Tuesday to Thursday. On Friday I think there was a shift change and we noticed the difference. The Lobby, Mezzanine, Restaurant and Bar were Lovely and clean as were the Toilets on these levels. Staff were friendly and helpful. It was great to see the Bar open again during the week as when we were there in Jan 26 it was only open on Fridays and Saturdays. The Hotel rooms are dated and the room we were in this time could certainly use some attention but beds were comfortable."

"Great location in the heart of the CBD with easy access to transport options. I stay regularly for work and the rooms are always clean and tidy and check-in is easy. My last stay, the hairdryer was broken and there was no conditioner in the shower, but otherwise it was a comfortable stay."

"Stayed overnight to see a show at Her Majesties theatre. Walking distance to hotel is why we initially booked our stay. We were both extremely happy with our stay. Front staff were very friendly and it took just moments to get us checked in. Room was beyond our expectations. Clean , modern , spacious. We took advantage of pre theatre menu at Bossley restaurant on site and had a very enjoyable meal on a relaxing atmosphere. Late checkout in morning was very appreciated after a late night. We will definately stay again. Thank You Ridges Hotel Melbourne."

"We loved our stay at Adara Apartments. We were in Melbourne to go to the football, and the apartments were so close to the MCG. Lots of pubs and restaurants close by too. The space had everything we needed. We missed out on parking at the property, but there was heaps of on street parking at a reasonable rate. My new favourite accommodation in the city, and have booked again for a couple of weeks time."

"It is not easy to find properties that are pet friendly so we are always keen to try them out. Birches Apartment was a good size with a comfortable layout and in a great location close to much of what Melbourne has to offer. The bed was comfortable with good quality Hotel type sheets. Yes it’s a bit tired with the age and style of the building but it’s fairly typical of other places we’ve tried in the past when we need to stay with our two small dogs. The shower was over the bath and bathroom decor is old but shower was hot so that’s great. The initial price given for our stay didn’t mention extra fees for pets and parking so it ended up more expensive than we first thought. I believe the Hotel websites need to be more transparent about extras as some places say “pet friendly - fees apply”and others don’t say this but still charge extra. Makes it hard to compare properly. The parking area was good in a secure location and close to our apartment (message property to check prices). As we take great care of anywhere we stay, it would be much fairer to take a bond for pets and refund if the owners do the right thing…"
