"We stayed at the resort for 10 days. The resort was very clean. Housekeeping staff did a nice job keeping the room clean and tidy. But, we found our room a bit tired with sparse/dated furniture. The tub did not drain well and water pressure was frequently very weak on the 10th floor. The pool area was very nice. But, good luck getting a lounge chair near it. People stake their claim for the day at 7am and then disappear from "claimed", but vacant, chairs. There is no management of this behaviour unless you want to be confrontational. Rude and drunk frat boys smoking in the pool. Bar area VERY loud in the evening. There is sand. But, not beachfront. Need to shuttle to a nearby beach which was very nice. Staff were generally very welcoming and nice - espcially the ladies distributing the beach towels. They made our stay with their friendly greetings and conversation. However, there were some staff in the Verandah that seemed miserable in their jobs. No smiles, no conversation, pointing at a table for your meal and vanishing. Coffees and wine orders taken only to never appear at your table. The Spa experience was wonderful. Staff and service were exceptional. One of my biggest bones to pick was the need to line up daily to book meals to eat at the three specualty restaurants: Tings on a stick; Edgewater Grill and Abbiocco. Not all are open each night. We tired of waiting in lines eating up our vacation time. We ended up eating at the buffet most nights. "
