Probably the best hotel/resort gym I’ve ever seen. If I had one recommendation, it would be to add more umbrellas on the beach. There were plenty of chairs, but umbrellas became a Hunger Games situation as there was one umbrella for every 10-15 chairs (versus one umbrella for every two chairs by the pool). "

"Affordable place to stay in a safe environment close to the airport and the beach. The owner was very friendly and the entire setting was very clean and unique. It doesn’t have many bells and whistles. One towel, one bar of soap about covers the room. No mini fridge, cups, ice etc. Sinks don’t drain well but found that around most of DR. We were able to check in early and after we checked out at 11, stay on site for a few hours til our flight. Ubers were about $7 usd to the closest beach and $10...

It wasnt explained well where to check in and therefore I waited downstairs for an hour where I felt dismissed and wasnt given much direction when told to go upstairs. The room was nice as the pictures but some weird holes in walls... The difficulty in speaking to staff was hard at times English to Spanish, even with simple words. The food at the restaurant was really good. The prices were good as well. The housekeeper never cleaned our room and the phone...
