"LOVED THE WOOD FIREPLACE!!! Lots of wood stored by our unit so we never ran out. Love the free bus transit passes. Banff is small enough that it made it very convenient to use to go down down or to the Banff Gondola. Staff is super friendly and helpful. Enjoyed the go tub as well. We didn’t use the fitness centre to can’t comment on that. We had a $25 credit that we used at the restaurant and the food was very good. Will definitely be coming back. "

"We made the best of it, but it was one let down after another. We have been coming here for 15 years, and it’s never been a luxury getaway. But it’s so rundown now I wouldn’t recommend staying here. Unless you’re 20 and going to party with 10 people in your room like the suite on top of us. The hottub is their money maker, and it was freezing, the sauna was very cold as well, too cold to sit in. The pool was filled with debris from the wind the day before. Quite a few people complained about this and the answer was always “maintenance has been called”. Went inside for a hot chocolate, only the find there was no water, no problem, asked for the young Asian lady working behind the counter to fill it up for us. She came back with a carafe filled with lukewarm tap water. Awesome. 0/10 for effort. The unit was EXTREMELY RUNDOWN and FILTHY. It has not been vacuumed, hair and dirt all over the floors, the walls looked scary they were so dirty. I think someone stole the photo on the wall because it was bare. The furniture has never changed since we’ve been coming and it shows. Very dirty couch and scratched up tables. The carpet was scary, we didn’t walk on it with our bare feet that’s how bad it was. "
