"Staff was very friendly and the resort is a really nice and cozy spot for families and couples. Rooms are comfortable and great quality. My one issue was the additional charge for resort amenities at the property that isn't reflected in the original price quoted and paid through Expedia. The amenities on the website include things like the lounge (closed at 8pm), cable tv, wifi (barely functional) smoke free rooms, and "free" parking. This charge feels a bit deceptive and I'm not confident the amenities provided justify it."

"We had stayed at JPL many years ago annd we enjoyed it then and although the recent forest fire affected the overall lodge it was still an enjoyable experience. Much of the main lodge was closed for renovations so there is no way to comment on what that would have done for our experience."

" Breakfast was a disappointment as we were not informed before about the pork sausage only will be served. Booked 2 rooms both TV were not working well. Gym was out of order."

"Even with all the construction, our stay at Forest Park Hotel was great! The beds were comfortable and there was a kettle, coffee maker, and mini fridge in the room. There is a lot of parking around the hotel and they have a list of places to eat and you are able to access the swimming pool in the hotel near by."

"The hotel has undergone recent renovations and it was nice having new carpet/tub/tile. The front desk staff were very friendly and overall our stay was very enjoyable and the Marmot Lodge met our needs at a very good price point."
