"The pictures look great of this property and that is why we booked. Communication was with The Happy rental rep. Upon arrival we found the keybox and there was 5 unmarked keys so you had to guess which was for each door. Steep narrow steps with low head room to the floor where apartment was. We knew this but if you are tall and have large suitcases certainly not ideal. Initial inspection looked good although a bit smaller than the photos suggested. "It was just an Ok property. Location is good. Breakfast was far away and not very good. Street was very loud, because it was right in the middle of town. Beach far away. No windows. Poor ventilation. Staff was good. I would not go back, though. There was no telephone to call when I arrived. I asked nearby and they told me to go to the next location and ask. I had to call for the staff to come and help me. All very confusing."

As a result, sleep was difficult and even with the balcony doors and shutters open, it didn’t cool off and the street noise was loud until about 1:00 am. THE TWO LADY OWNERS (mom and daughter) and front desk staff person are wonderful and react immediately to your needs. Been in Italy three weeks and stayed in some nice places but La Perla is the best in terms of value and quality. Plus the place is almost brand new."
