"Fantastic friendly service, characterful property and a pleasant change from a chain hotel. Not right in the centre but only a very safe 6-8min walk from Minster, shops, restaurants etc… Breakfast was outstanding and good value at £16 for juice, coffee, pastry, yogurt and fruit and Eggs Benedict. Full English a bit more, lighter options from £11. Quite a lot of parking outside at £15 a night (good for York) but it’s very tight & I’d advise contacting them to reserve a place. I got the last one...
