"This is such a cute inn. The rooms were nice and clean. I loved the intentional '60s decor and feel of the place. Love the flamingos . Will definitely be staying here again when we come back in October or November. Staff was polite. Parking was easy. Hot tub and pool were clean as well as the area surrounding them. No vending machines except to CVS vending machine which actually came in very handy since we forgot a toothbrush. They did have ice maker. The front desk was kind enough to make me a cup of coffee at 5:00 in the morning before they were set up. Beds were comfortable enough regular spring Style beds. Only complaint I could have at all would be that the body wash and conditioner were not filled in the room but we brought our own so it didn't really matter for us. Plus I'm sure that they would have filled it if we had asked . My son only noticed because he didn't want to smell as flowery as me and my daughter. Close to some nice shopping areas. Close to lots of food options. It was perfect for us."

"We weren't informed about the destination fee perks at check in . We paid for multiple activities that were included in the destination fee that the attendant didn't inform us of at check in . We were very disappointed at check out when we learned of the activities that were included that we paid out of pocket for due to lack of communication. "

"The Godfrey was super nice for a quick trip to LA. The staff was super hospitable and the facilities was clean and current. The beds swallowed me up and the showers had the right temperature and right pressure. The rooms a little small but had spots for all of my belongings. Also I loved how prompt valet was, when we called the car was ready before us. I would definitely come back. The Cons: you definitely can hear the music from the rooftop and the bottom floor, but I was so tired I couldn’t care less. This is a lively area so you will hear everything from the street. The food and drinks were a little pricey and need a little help. My calamari was overcooked, and the lobster rolls were a little dry, and needed a little more seasoning. Breakfast was basic but I feel like you could get better from somewhere in the area. The drinks are $20 each but again when you are on Vacation who cares. I definitely would come back, I would just dine Elsewhere. "
