"If you are going to Stansted I would highly recommend staying at another hotel as there are cheaper ones in the area and this one is not worth the price. Why? The staff. Whilst the room is a nice size with a nice bed the staff are the reason not to stay. The first issue I incurred was at check in, they ignored the fact there was a queue and started serving people that just walked into the hotel ignoring the people who had waited ages. "A bit surreal, the place was devoid of staff, night or day! The room was clean but tiny and very sparse of comfort, which is OK for one night but does not match the price. Also the name Airport Lodge is deceptive, it is 10' ride by taxi and that was 16 pounds. The following day i tried the local bus but it came 45´ late. At least, it was only 2 pounds. "
