"I looked up videos of the stairs ahead of time, but there were more than I anticipated. After getting down the first set of stairs, you’ll go across a bumpy, sandy path to get to the hotel and then have more steep steps at the hotel. The steps to get to the rooms are also very steep. This is all fine if you have a backpack or small bag. We had almost 20kg in our suitcases, and it was a workout. Just be prepared for that if you are bringing a suitcase. It’s like hiking, and we were sweating and needing breaks along the way. The bathroom water smelled pretty bad, and I don’t think I would enjoy showering in it for a long stay. We were worried about mosquitos because there was a big gap in the doors when they were closed and locked, but actually we didn’t get any bites. The view is beautiful, and we loved being so close to the ocean. The beaches were pretty clean too. We had two meals here, and the food was great. We stayed at a fancy resort with many dining options after this, but we enjoyed the food at Dreamsea better. The fruit is so fresh and sweet, and the teas were great. We also loved the rendang. We only stayed one night, but we enjoyed our stay and slept well. I don’t think I would stay here for a long time because it’s not convenient to get out of the hotel and get to other places, but it’s so nice if you just want to be close to the ocean."

"I absolutely loved my stay here. From the beautiful hotel itself to the incredible people who work here, it truly became a home away from home. A very special mention to Dedi, Ayu and Dinda as well as the entire team, who made my stay so memorable. I felt genuinely cared for from the moment I arrived. Everyone was so warm, kind, attentive and it was those little interactions each day that made such a difference. The wonderful team really is what makes this place so special. The hotel is new, beautifully designed and has such a lovely, calm atmosphere. The pool area is gorgeous and peaceful, with the option to relax in either the sun or shade depending on what you feel like. I also loved the filtered by water available throughout the hotel which is such a great and thoughtful addition. It’s one of those places where you immediately feel comfortable and looked after and I was genuinely sad to say goodbye. I’m so grateful to the whole team for making my stay so wonderful and would happily come back again."

"This was a great place but with relatively disappointing service. Pros: Great location Excellent pool area Good quality food and choices Excellent room set up Tappanyaki restaurant was great Cons: Service at the restaurant (Grill) was terrible - we waited 45 minutes, just to get our drinks. We had to constantly chase to get them to bring food - similar story was happening at breakfast, even though the place did not look very busy. Staff at the reception was also disorganised - we had booked our air transfers in advance and had everything agreed - but the night before we had different people contacting us with completely different information WhatsApp communications were also generally useless if you wanted a response within the hour"

"Our stay at Jumeirah Bali was truly unforgettable. From the moment we arrived until the day we departed, every member of the team made us feel genuinely welcome. The service was warm, professional, and always delivered with a smile. We were traveling as a family with two young children, and the staff consistently went out of their way to accommodate our requests. They helped arrange our airport transportation, assisted with our late departure plans, and made the check-out process smooth and convenient so we could enjoy our final evening without any stress. The villa was beautiful, spacious, and exceptionally well maintained. The views, the peaceful atmosphere, and the attention to detail made it the perfect place to relax. We also enjoyed dining at Segaran and Akasa Restaurant. The food, service, and ambiance were all outstanding and made our stay even more memorable. This trip was especially meaningful because we celebrated our 10th wedding anniversary here, and Jumeirah Bali helped make it an experience that our family will always remember. Thank you to everyone at Jumeirah Bali for your kindness and hospitality. We look forward to returning again in the future."

"This stay was a highlight of our trip to Bali. The villa and pool were immaculate. The only (very small) suggestion I’d make is more variety in the dinner menu… I would have loved some more Balinese options rather than such a western based menu. The service we received was beyond excellent and I recommend this place for anybody. We had a private pool and it was just exquisite, along with the deep luxurious bath."
