"This place was incredible. It was essentially a one bedroom apartment with a small kitchen a full living room and dining room. Location is incredible for Mayfair and Hyde Park. The only criticism I had was that I had a room at the front of the property. It faced onto a popular cut through road so you could hear the traffic outside until around 1am. "The hotel is very centrally located and in a great spot near a lot of shops, theatres, and restaurants. While the service leaves something to be desired, as you have to check in and get your own room keys on a self-service tablet that is not very customer-friendly, and they do not clean the rooms during your stay. If you want towels, you will have to ask the person in the lobby, and the trash does not get taken out. The room itself was fine, very minimal, but it was clean and had everything you might need. The issue is the toilet. The "room" with the toilet is encased in glass that is frosted. This does not leave any privacy from the rest of the room, and everything can be clearly heard from the toilet to the rest of the room. This hotel is great if you are looking for a fairly reasonably priced room that is centrally located and has the bare necessities and nothing else."

"It’s one of those hotels that is now very dated and was probably still dated 20 years ago. No aircon so not ideal during the summer but room had a fan tbf. Check in was annoying. We looked to check in 1h early annd told to either pay £20 for early check in or £10 per item for storage and come back in 1h. No flexibility and staff refused to budge. First impressions stick so avoid. Did not do breakfast as £18 pp as that’s a crazy price. Overall, room was clean and tidy but avoid due to severe ageing and terrible check in."

"We had a good stay at the Park Plaza for 9 nights. The location is terrific, short walk to Uber Boat, Westminster tube and Waterloo train station. Great views of Big Ben and Parliment buildings. The room was comfortable and clean. Primo Bar, Ichi, and Illy Cafe all had great service and food. Disappointed with Brasserie Joel, food was over cooked and the staff were not friendly at all. They have "prawns" as an appetizer but they were more like salad shrimp. The filet was boring and chewy. This restaurant was not busy and I see why. The hotel is worth the money to stay there."

"Hotel was well decorated and clean. Room was well furnished and also clean. Stayed 3 days, no hot water in the entire building at all the entire second day - staff very unhelpful, could not offer alternative place to shower, could not offer partial refund or other compensation. In addition, £38 for a double gin&tonic and a 330ml Kopparberg at the bar. The bar is very pretty but prices are insane, even for London."
