"The location was fantastic. Right in the middle of the French Quarter. We were walking distance from everything. It’s a block away from ACME and Felix’s. Also a block away from the trollers on Canal. Mr Ed’s, the restaurant attached to the hotel was also fantastic. The hotel gave us coupons for 15% off so that was great. The only downside is the parking. It’s like $60 a day to park here."

"Staff were friendly and helpful. Loved the historic aspects and aesthetics of this place. French Toast was the most convenient and delicious breakfast/brunch spot - and the friendly atmosphere was amazing. The best muffuletta is at this little bitty corner grocery story down the block called Verti Mart at 1201 Royal St, New Orleans, LA 70116. Soooooo much history in such a short walk. Frenchman Street is only a few blocks away; I consider it a more laid back bourbon street with lots of great music and food. If you’re considering driving for this trip; know that parking is charged everywhere, so the paying for parking on the property is actually worth it- take advantage of the vicinity and valet. I truly think we will be back."

From the moment you step inside, there is an unmistakable sense of place. The atmosphere carries that wonderfully intoxicating New Orleans character: romantic, mysterious, historic, and just a little bit decadent. It feels less like checking into a hotel and more like stepping into a beautifully preserved chapter of the city itself. The architecture and design strike a remarkable balance between sophistication and soul. Nothing feels sterile or overly polished. Instead, there is texture, character, and a sense that the building has stories of its own. The details invite you to slow down and actually look around. And that is perhaps what I appreciated most. Hotel New Orleans doesn’t simply accommodate you. It gives you an atmosphere to inhabit. After spending time wandering through the city, returning to the hotel felt like stepping back into a quieter world. There is something wonderfully cinematic about it, especially in the evening when New Orleans begins to take on that particular glow that makes the city feel almost dreamlike. The experience is elevated by the hospitality. The staff were warm, attentive, and genuinely welcoming without ever making the experience feel formal or forced. Those little moments of thoughtful service are what transform a beautiful property very memorable."
