Self check in but a number was given to contact owners if any issues.
Only downside , radiator which was working well stopped in the night and i woke up cold, however there was a spare blanket in the wardrobe.

"We were disappointed that the pictures advertising the Walton Hall Hotel & Spa were quite deceptive. The actual hotel is not at all connected to the historic Walton Hall, and the hotel wing and room that we experienced were very worn and in need of a renovation. "We had a fantastic stay. The bed linen was immaculate and the towels were soft and fluffy. The decor in the room was very bright and clean. Breakfast was really good and brought to our room at the exact time we had asked for and the hot food was piping hot. Definitely value for money. This would be my first choice if I were to visit Stratford again. "

"The location is central. The hotel is unique with spacious rooms and fabulous bathrooms. Everything in the room was complimentary. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful. We all enjoyed the breakfast and both the chef and the waitress exceeded our expectations, in particular regarding the gluten free requirements that my daughter has. I wish we had stayed more nights. We'll go back when we return to Stratford."

"This is a great hotel in the middle of Stratford. Easy to drive to . The car park was full so we waited and eventually parked. Check in again was easy. Our room was great well equipped with all the usual toiletries etc The bed was very comfy and had a good nights sleep. We went into the bar at night and they served some great local beers and as residents' we received 10% off. Breakfast again was good as it is served at the table. Well presented and well cooked.
We would stay there again. Great...

"Yes the only criticism was on the 15/4/26 in the restaurant they were pretty busy but the service was very slow which was a shame as it was our 48th wedding anniversary. The food was amazing but only having a main meal and dessert in 2 hours was not really acceptable. "

"We had a wonderful stay at Fawsley Hall. The interior stunningly reflects the Halls history and the rooms were spacious and peaceful.
We dined in the restaurant which was relaxing and delicious. The following morning we had breakfast in bed which was one of the best breakfasts I’ve had at a hotel stay.
What stood out the most was the staff. They were impeccable & highly professional. They took great care to ensure we enjoyed our stay and couldn’t be more welcoming and helpful.

"We stayed for a couple of nights, having breakfast & dinner twice. After a rather brusque check-in with a middle aged Asian gentleman (the owner?), we made our way to Room 10, a king sized room with an additional bed in a side room. As we had our Jack Russell with us, this may be a pet-friendly room.
The bedroom was beautifully clean, and the beds comfortable. I think the bathroom had not long been fitted, and had a fabulous shower along with all the complimentary soaps/showergels/shampoos...
