"The Didi is a wonderful place to stay as a couple or even with a family. The beach is beautiful rooms were extremely clean. The staff was wonderful to deal with. We had the most amazing beachfront view would definitely stay again. We usually go to Aruba couldn’t get there this year so we chose state Saint Martin, and we were very happy"

"While the rooms were a little dated, everything was very clean and very comfortable. Grounds were immaculate, great pool and amazing beach. Plenty of lounge chairs. Staff were all friendly and helpful. Night bartender, Jay, was awesome. Hotel is in a nice area, plenty of restaurants in walking distance."

"Beautiful property, quiet and well kept. Only downfall is location is on the French side of the island and without a car things get very expensive getting taxis to and from things to do. If planning to stay at this resort please know it’s on the French side which means it’s not close to the popular tourists attractions. Otherwise decent resort."

The owner finally stood outside my room on Sunday and said he would refund me half and would have the hot water fixed but then the power went out around midnight and didn’t come back on until Monday at 6:19am and not a single word from the staff. "Our ocean view room had a great view of the pool and ocean. The room was also spacious and very clean. We enjoyed breakfast and dinner at Azul as well as the view and breeze from the ocean. The staff were courteous and very accommodating. The edge pool was wonderful! It was peaceful with staff there to serve you drinks. The resort is great for relaxing as well as taking advantage of the excursions to explore the island. You have access to the family side (Sonesta Maho Beach). It is very crowded...

"I will say I was a bit disappointed. Maybe I have stayed at too nice of places lately but there were several things that left us frustrated. Small things. Like the pool bar closes at 7 but the pool stays open until 8. I barely saw anyone in the pool. It leaves a little to be desired. "Loved our stay in a one bedroom suite! Our room was lovely, very comfortable and we had everything we needed. We enjoyed eating our complimentary breakfast (very good) on our terrace. We often stopped by the pool area on our way back from the beach. It is beautiful and a great place to relax and cool off. The evening shuttle to Grande Case gave us the option to catch a ride, though we often walked as it’s close by and we enjoyed the walk. Many great restaurants in the area….we loved Java...
