"Every staff member was exceptionally polite and helpful! The room was just amazing as it very clean and the ocean front view was just spectacular! It was a short walk to many restaurants and the little strip, or they will call you a taxi for your transportation needs, if needed. I would definitely stay here again, and the scenery is just amazing the clear ocean water was just delightful!"

"Michelle, Hotel Manager was great at check in . Even sent me a Happy Birthday bottle to the room . Very much appreciated. Carlos was a great host on the walk in and throughout the trip . Pool staff was great . Kamesha, Aailyah, and the supervisor were very attentive and fast service . The room service staff / kitchen were amazing . I will definitely be back. Some of the staff were not very welcoming , but the good ones outweighed the bad."

My entire experience at this resort was fantastic from the location which was 5 minutes drive from the airport, to the beach view and my room, to the helpful friendly staff, various pools, restaurants, food variations, different music events and cleanliness of the resort and grounds. The grounds were also well maintained and very eye catching. I found it to be very relaxing and peaceful and the overall vibe of the place was warm and welcoming. Room service and housekeeping were amazing too. I truly can’t think of anything disappointing or negative to share aside from the fact that my time there was too short lol.. I would highly recommend this resort to others. Thank you to all at Sonesta Ocean Point Resort for making my first true vacation away one of my most enjoyable and memorable times in my life. You guys rock!❤️"

"The room was clean and comfortable. The beach is accessible and clean and nice. Not much to do in the actual hotel but the location is great to get to everything. The one younger woman that works the front desk isn’t so pleasant and you almost feel like you’re a bother to her. But the older woman and young man are pleasant and helpful. I would recommend it for a stay if you’re an independent traveller and not looking for much amenities in a hotel."

"We absolutely loved it there, what really make this place amazing are the people, they treat you as family. Big S/O to Nelson or Oscar (i got his name confused the whole time) at the front desk, to the bartender at Verenda restaurant, to my two Dominicans new friends (Yari) at the Veranda Market and restaurant. Overall, big S/O to all the staff, the cleaning lady assigned to our room Ms Preciouse, what a wonderful lady. The hotel even gave us a free upgrade to a water front apartment. Great place to stay, spacious rooms/apartments, clean property overall, laundry with detergent and softener included, clean gym, free parking and always some sort of activities going on. It was our second visit to Oyster Bay in 3 months, first visit was in February 2026 for 5 days then we went back again in May 2026 for 10 days. We strongly recommend this hotel."
