"Location was excellent, breakfast was decent. Rooms are dated but clean. Staff was nice and helpful. I was not given the room I booked online, I ended up getting a room with 3 beds which occupied all the space in the room. Air conditioner was not working properly. Generally above average but not luxury."

"I chose The Emerald Mansion hotel because of the location. It's walking distance to the Blue Mosque, Topkapi Palace, the grand bazzar and the tram stop is a short walk away. The beds are comfortable, breakfast is huge. I was on a fat free diet, so instead of giving me cheese, as part of the breakfast platter ( omlette, boiled egg, cheese, croissant, jams, honey, hazelnut spread, and a roll) they did fruit instead ( sliced apple and pear). All the staff are lovely and helpful especially Mel on Reception. She was great, very helpful and always smiling and happy to help. The hotel has 15 rooms, so it's intimate and cozy. There are shops and restaurants everywhere. We'd go back again."

The staff are very nice, the breakfast is worth the money because of the variation, but honestly not necessary. And the location is where you want to be. The perfect central location for tourists planning to visit different sites. The food is good price around the hotel compared to Sultanahmet area. Highly recommended P.S. do not change money at the exchange office in front of the hotel, just walk two more minutes and get the best exchange rate."
