"Hotel is under renovation. We stayed there before and will be back. If you have allergies it’s big issue. Dog friendly hotel. Restaurant has to improve a lot. I ordered risotto and got lot of water. Staff is very friendly and helpful. They offer lake access a little drive from hotel. Kayaking and standing boards are provided."

"I stayed here 1 night with a friend with whom I was on a bikepacking trip. We found Microtel to be very clean, well-lit and in very good repair. The staff was courteous and helpful. The included breakfast was similar to what is served at travel hotels. It was more than adequate and got us off to a good start the next day."

"The hotel exceeded our expectations in terms of cleanliness and comfort. The hotel itself is beautiful and elegant. Our room was on the third floor and offered a stunning view of the lake. The location is excellent—Mirror Lake is just across the street, making it easy to enjoy both the sunrise and the sunset. The breakfast was delicious and offered a wide variety of choices. Overall, we had a wonderful stay and would happily recommend this hotel to others."
