I’m not real picky as long as it’s clean. But if I had a family with me I wouldn’t be as happy, my room needed updated, still has the old small toilet, the shower was missing tiles on the floor and needed caulking on the side. Forgot my shampoo, they gave me body wash, stated that’s all they had. No plug-ins available except in the bathroom!

Booked room related to convenience for event. Individuals at check in were pleasant and certainly took my concerns with respect. I ultimately after inspecting the first single room, requested a change d/t presence of bed bugs on bedding. They offered me a second room to see if it alleviated my concern. The 3rd room alleviated my concern. However I pulled the bed out and slept on the top of the bedding and was only there for some sleep. I just got up and got out in the morning. It wasn't horrible and have to admitt they did have 3 covers on mattress. I always put my bags, when staying anywhere in a black 3 ply bag to remove before I exit, hopeful that I didn't bring anything home.

Brown's Motel Aberdeen
No frills hotel with the bare essentials. A clean room, color TV (no remote), reasonably comfortable bed, and a hot shower. I was advised you could get a complimentary breakfast in the lobby, but I did not partake. The protective plexiglass enclosure at the front desk was a bit unnerving, and there were no additional safety locks on the doors except for the single deadbolt.

Bed was terrible…old and squeaky. Floor tiles were buckeled and floor was dirty. Display on A/C would not show temperature. Brown towels were used for construction people in our building because of dirty spots and stains, so who knows if they were clean or not.

This motel is quaint from the outside. The room was clean, but bare bones. The linens and towels were very old snd used. We had to go buy an extension cord as one of the room outlets was not operational. The motel staff said that an extension cord was not available for our use. All in all it was a place.to lay our heads for the night. Probably would not stay here again.

Service was great. The room and building were clean. There is a lot of wear and tear, but that is to be expected in an older hotel. It was well worth the price point and I would stay there again

Electric outlets did not work except one in bathroom. No hair dryer or iron to iron clothes beds were loud every time you moved and uncomfortable

Hello Dawn.I am sorry you did not have a excellent visit with us. I am sorry for any inconvenience with no hair dryer in room and no iron. The light switch on the wall has to be flipped to the on position in order for the outlet behind the bed to work. We have it set up that way so when guest checks in at night they can turn the table lamp on by light switch before walking into room so that they can see. So if that switch is not on the plug in will not work. I hope you change your mind and come back to give us a second chance!

The Brown lives up to it’s name
The Brown truly was brown. One of the dirtiest places we have ever stayed. Terrible stains on carpet and beds. Only one outlet in the whole room worked. Bathroom was filthy with dirt piled up in the corners. Booked a non smoking room and there were cigarette butts in the room as well as burns on the bedding. Def won’t be going back. Avoid this place

Brandon,I'm sorry you had an unpleasant experience. We do have some guests who do have longer stays than others do to working in the area. However, cookers are not permitted in our guests rooms and if they are ever found are removed immediately due to fire marshall's safety rules and guidelines. Our housekeepers are diligent in their duties to make sure this particular law is maintained. Basic roadside motel.
Basic roadside motel. Room was ok, bed was comfortable, bathroom was very small. When you sat on the toilet, you could lay your head on the sink! Maybe a good thing if you were hungover. Overall not a bad place to stay for a night or two. They served breakfast, but I was running a race and had to leave before breakfast was served.

Very clean and comfortable.
Motel was extremely clean for being so old. The grounds were well cared for. Also. Location is fantasticus. Many restaurants available when you go over the bridge to the Kentucky side. The bed was very comfortable and the shower was amazing as it didn't have water restriction and the hot water flowed nicely. Great! Stay at a great price.

We were charged an extra fee because we paid by Credit Card. The first room we were in the A/C stopped working so were moved to a different room. The WiFi had a very weak signal, we kept getting disconnected or it was very slow. Only one light worked in our room, the light in the ceiling fan didn't work. The people in the room next to us were noisy. If I was staying in the area again I would pick a different motel even if it cost a few dollars more.
