"Very interesting place - so great to be able to sit outside! The main staff person at breakfast was grumpy and almost rude. Such a contrast to the front desk staff who were lovely. We had issues with the shower drain g and the drain was disgustingly clogged with hair :(. Ewwww. Fantastic location!!! A bit expensive for what we got, however the location was wonderful."

"Front desk was rude and dismissive-both at check in and when we called for an inquiry. There was hardened gunk all over the floor. The flusher was in disrepair and fell apart. Everything is old. You cannot shower without wetting the toilet completely and you must contort dangerously to get out of the bath/shower. We aren't picky travelers but this was too much going wrong even for us."

"I liked and didn't like the location. It was a bit off the main paths which I liked the quiteness and I prefer off the beaten path, but it was hard to find. "I was very disappointed with this hotel for several reasons. First, it was not cheap at all. Despite what was listed on Expedia, there was no elevator, and this was not clearly marked as a missing amenity. I strongly suggest they add it to the list of not-included items. The room we were given was on the top floor, the fourth floor, and the ceiling was only about 6.5 feet high. I mean, if you raised your arms, you would hit the ceiling. "Great location - very close to Train Station and Water Taxi - just off the Grand Canal and major tourist area - just 100 yards from major canal foot bridge - yet quiet and serene ally location. Room was quiet! Nice size room for family with 2 kids i their own twin beds! Nice shower. AC works which is a plus but it was not that warm while we were there. Plentiful breakfast. Elevator for suitcases. Great location!"
