"Even though there are signs to not wear shoes in the room, the carpet was extremely dirty and should have been deep cleaned or replaced entirely. The curtains by the bathroom and window were also very dirty. The front desk staff were very friendly and helpful though. Location was convenient enough but just think the rooms could use a refresh. "The hotel is being managed with an iron fist. You are constantly told how to behave, including how to sit in the breakfast room chairs. We had severe bizarre interactions with the hotel staff, which can be attributed to cultural differences… We were awakened on our second night at 11:20pm by a telephone ring. The front desk appeared to have dialed by mistake and he sounded apologetic. "

"Super clean and simple hotel in an amazingly serene area, with 5 minute drive to the next town where there are tons of restaurants. Rooms have a stove, dishes, and pots. Deck has a table with a grill. Owners are nice and helpful. They did not speak English, but showed us everything in the room and how it works.
