"Location was ideal, able to walk through the dunes to the beach. The social hall was nice and my boys enjoyed the pool tables. I was surprised by the cost of the meals in the dining hall- almost $50 per person for dinner! We opted to eat elsewhere. The cafe in the social hall was cute and convenient, but staffing issues in the morning prevented us from getting coffee... We stayed in a family room, which was set up well for us. "Supposedly it's a good hotel but we had booked a sea view with balcony. There was no balcony and the curtains were thorn up with only a partial sea view."

"I had rented this site for a friend and my son once before so now that me and my younger son were visiting I thought this would be a great place. I was wrong!!! Wow we had a "corner" room litterally in the corner of the hotel, and it was packed the matresses were stained the bedding didn't fit, there was no phone, There was only qvc type channels so outdated, the plug was a generic 6 panel with fridge micro tv all plugged into it, so unsafe. There we no plugs to plug in for phone, the bathroom...

"Overall this is a good hotel in Carmel. It seemed a little pricey but they do have a free 1st class breakfast and free happy hour that is nice. The happy hour starts at 2 pm. Our room was a little small for the price but amenities were excellent."

"Very clean, well renovated, visible staff daily. Comfortable bed, plump and numerous pillows. Staff did neat decorative fold on first tisdue out of the box, too."
