"We spent four fabulously comfortable and decadent four nights at The Charles in Pacific Grove. The rooms are beautifully decorated with a nod to the age of the building (1904). Historic photographs of Pacific Grove line the hallways. The lounge is comfortable and the late afternoon wine and snacks added to the conviviality. Breakfasts were varied and fresh. The breads and quiche were yummy. The beds are soft, the sheets cotton, and at night you can hear the faint crash of the waves on the shore....

"We really enjoyed our stay! Room was very clean, quiet and had all the amenities we needed. The location was super, steps away from downtown Carmel and the price was great too, considering how close it was to everything. Staff were friendly and nice too. We will be back! "
