"Great place to stay with kids. Everything is pirate themed. Breakfast is buffet style with the usual pastries, fruit, yogurt, cereals cheese and ham. I’m vegan and can’t eat gluten so just had fruit, salad and nuts. They had soya milk available on request. The pool/aquapark is great. The slides have signs saying not for under 6yo but we saw younger kids go on. There are armbands available if needed and big family changing rooms. Lockers are coded so no coins needed. "Still a great hotel but things have definitely slipped since my last few visits. Slow check in, bathroom extractor fan not working, partially blocked bath and faulty lights. All small problems but it does point to slipping standards. I’ll give it one more go, based on previous experiences but might have to find another favourite hotel for my trips to Blackpool if things remain the same. "

"Hotel was better than expected after reading the reviews. Previously stayed at the hotel many years ago with previous owners & it has so many facilities for kids it has the potential to be a great hotel (like it used to) Biggest let down was the heat of the room. "The mini kitchen was great. Only issue is that you can’t stop/pick up in front of the hotel because of the buses and the Uber drivers always confuse it with the hotel across the road "
