Right in the center of things to do in Edinburgh with easy access to Waverly Train station. Hotel staff was exceptional! They even handled a unique request and did all the internet searches complete with maps & times to attend a special meeting. You wouldn't be disappointed choosing this hotel. Breakfast was plentiful and an excellent way to start the day. I can not say enough good things about these employees and hotel.

Simply excellent from start to finish. We were given a free upgrade but everything was brilliant.

The front desk staff was incredibly friendly and helpful during our stay. I left my cell phone behind and they mailed it to my next destination. It was very much appreciated. The location in Edinburgh is also unbeatable.

It was a lovely old hotel with atmosphere. The service was very good. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The grounds surrounding the hotel was so peaceful and so scenic. I really enjoyed my stay there.

Owners were wonderful and very helpful. The view of Uig harbour from the room was a wonderful treat--complete with a rainbow one morning. The room was nicely appointed and large. We liked the location beause it is convenient to some excellent walks nearby and the ferry to Harris and a scenic and easy drive around the top to other hikes on the east side or south into Portree for shopping and dining. It's quiet and relaxing--just what we wanted.

I initially chose to stay at Gleann an Ronnaich based on price and reviews...however, the stay at Gleann an Ronnaich far exceeded even those preliminary expectations. Stuart was so warm and welcoming from the very beginning. The breakfast that Stuart provides was far superior to many of the other locations I stayed in throughout Scotland. As a single woman traveler, I felt completely safe and secure at the B&B. If I ever make it back to Portree, there is no other place I will stay.

Great duplex rooms, off-street parking and breakfast. I always appreciate being able to make coffee in my room with the the fresh ground coffee and cafetiere provided.

Great location, contemporary clean & welcoming hotel at a very affordable price we would definitely recommend this Hotel. If you are not a club reveller then ensure your room is not road facing or if it is make sure your are high up as it got quite noisy when the clubs kicked out
