"This was a quaint place to stay in the Byward Market area of Ottawa. Walking distance (10-15 min) from the Shaw Centre for our conference, and just a few blocks from the Champagne fitness center which has a full-length 25 yard pool. The room was well equipped with microwave, fridge, plates and utensils as well as table/desk, and had a private balcony as well. "Stay was ok! Room was very nice, spacious as well. Appreciated the little kitchenette during our stay. Service from check in was not very friendly. I felt like I was just a number and they just wanted me to pass through. We asked for extra pillows after we returned from dinner, and the lady at the front desk gave us a facial reaction like we were crazy, and then she said they had no pillows. We also asked for a blow dryer, because we assumed the room would be equipped with one, but now I...

"Safe in the room, but when called the desk they said no access to it and pretty much hung up. Lobby washrooms early morning women’s had no Kleenex and men’s had no toilet paper. Yes, the guy in the desk took care of asap, but it makes you wonder how often they’re cleaned and restocked."
