"Except for Sunday breakfast where there seems to be slow top up of food , plates etc and low number of service crews, other days are quite aoK "

"Very beautiful lobby, feel so relaxed upon entering. Lovely courtyard too. Service is good and staff are very accommodating towards requests. Value for money. Rooms are rather dated, not the cleanest but ok acceptable. Basic amenities provided. Buffet breakfast is very basic but sufficient and menu of hot items changed on the 2 nights we stayed. Very convenient location - near to good dining options and Jonker Street. Walkable to St Paul Hill and A Famosa."

"The staff were very polite and accommodating. Found the property a little too old, not up kept , like the air conditioning and even lightings in rooms were a little too dim"

We knew is an old hotel with big room but the room doors are in need of upgrading bcos most of them cannot be closed properly, needs to pull hard to shut tightly which resulted loud bangs, so just imagine hearing door banging every now and then, which included ours too! The safe box in the room was not working and their explanation is all room safe boxes are under maintenance. So we had to c/o our passports in their master safe behind their reception counter, the old...

"The hotel has a nice rooftop pool with a bar. It is located in a quiet part of Melaka but there are many place to eat nearby and a shopping centre. You can easily walk to the historical centre and the river (around 15 minutes)"

"Overall the apartment was very nice with wonderful views over the city and mountains, but there was one very big issue with the lower level bathroom. At some time the water heater must have leaked and caused the ceiling to collapse. This must have happened some time ago judging by the mold on the surrounding wall/ceiling. Although this didn’t prevent me from trying to use the shower, I did discover however that the hot water supply had been turned off, I assume because of the leaking water...

"I overnight in this (ELMARK HOTEL MELAKA) for 2 nights. The second night was a nightmare to me. I'm so disappointed due to the electrical door lock spoilt, and i can't acess it. I have to wait more than 12 hours and there is no proper arrangements for me (my belongings are inside my room). The hotel staff told me about the master key with the hotel owner, and he is in another state now. I called the hotel owner, he didn't fix the issue on the spot..He asked me to wait him for another day to open...

"Very good location. Convenient for folks who wants to explore jonker street. The night market is right in front of the hotel. It has private parking which is very convenient for people driving. It has food right under the hotel. The room is very simple and rather old. Overall it's clean and liveable. We booked a room for our family of 4. I like the spacious room and having a small table for us to eat our dabao food. Aircon remote isn't working that well. In the room, wifi connection is bad....
