Check in was easy, with info forwarded the morning of, so we could just get in, get the keys, and be on with our day. "Great stay at hotel as it a good base for sightseeing Harrogate and other places, short walk into Harrogate and buses run very frequently. Hotel windows could do with nets or blinds and the wind whistled all one night through the window vent. My mattress sagged a bit in the middle and had two lights not working on arrival. On the whole we were happy with our stay and would probably go back."

"The property itself was well presented and clean, and the room was also clean on arrival. However, we had booked a "Luxury King Room" and felt the description was somewhat misleading. The bed was actually a double rather than a king-size bed (which I later noticed is stated in the room details), so the room name itself felt confusing. I’d also say the "luxury" description was an overstatement, as the room felt more basic/average than expected. Unfortunately, we had quite a poor night's sleep....

"The hotel was very clean and the staff were very welcoming not a good selection of draught beers but some in bottles and wine and spirits. The evening food was expensive but good but the breakfast was really marvellous. Bedroom was clean and very comfortable with king size bed and tea and coffee making facilities. Car parking is available but first come first served."

"There was nothing unique about this hotel, but it was clean and the staff were friendly. I would warn people with disabilities about access issues at the front of the property, there are several stairs to climb and no ramp. To be fair, if you can arrive/enter at the back entrance, it's mainly on the flat, so I'd recommend this as the best option. There are two lifts in the hotel to help you reach your room, although you may have to wait a while as both can be busy, indeed one of the lifts is...

"Staff were all very helpful and friendly. Food was very good. Hotel was well positioned to access all the main attractions of Harrogate. Car parking very limited and very tight for large cars. Room was adequate but cramped but bathroom was modern and well equipped. Shower over bath and as bath was deep getting in and out for small and older clients very difficult. "Our booking was made in February 2026 and we arrived to find we were not staying in the hotel but in an adjacent building 100 yards away which housed apartments. The weekend was to celebrate my 80th birthday and luckily I am sufficiently agile to overcome the steps getting into the apartment. It could possibly have been more convenient and cheaper to have booked a nearby travel lodge."

Lots of toothpaste splatter on the wall next to sink, dirty paint, worn out carpet and you can hear noise from hallway. We had a great time and location was perfect."

"Lovely hotel and breakfast was very nice. It was a small room which was to be expected Strangely there was a step up to the bathroom and this had a glow in the dark sign that was annoying at night A few little bits that could have been better. No plug near the desk to make tea had to use bedside table, door stop needed repairing in bathroom. But all minor. The spa was a nice addition. Nice location in Harrogate."
