Nice stay

The staff are very friendly and helpful, as always expected of Indonesian customary. The room is clean and comfortable, although the hallway and inside of the room can do with a bit more freshen up/renovations. Location is quite strategic close to the city centre. Breakfast spread is amazing with lots of local food options. In house spa service is also great with good service. Overall we enjoyed our stay.

The hotel looks tired, the furniture is stained as well as the carpet, the restaurant’s furniture is old and dirty. Not the best location, better to be at the Malioboro quarters. Staff very friendly and helpful.

I have stayed in the hotel multiple times over the past eight years. The rooms are nice in size. Excellent breakfast selection. Excellent, kind, and attentive staff. Supermarket nearby. The in-house very helpful tourist office helped me organize weekend activities. The interior of the rooms is still ok but shows signs of aging. Yet, I am extremely happy with my 4-week stay at the hotel and will always highly recommend the hotel!

Was a great experience in general. Staff were all so professional, attentive and always friendly. Everybody cared about us as guests. Breakfast was wonderful and many food choices. Room was cleaned every day and was comfortable. Definitely recommend this hotel for long or short stay and will stay here again.

Excellent service, room and value for money

From the moment we checked-in, the services were outstanding. They made the experience very personal. We love the room, it was clean, spacious and beautifully decorated. The hotel smells amazing too! Very lovely. Love the food at breakfast, the options are endless. The location is also very central. Easy to reach and go around. We would definitely return if we’re in Yogya and recommend the hotel to our friends and family.

The hotel itself its good. The hotel staff is excellent, they do eveything to make sure that your stay becomes memorable. But the hotel management should do something about the hotel rules. The other guests especially with children consider the hotel as a playground, but its a hotel. People go to a hotel for rest and not to be woken up in the middle of the night cause of a bunch of screaming kids. This is where the hotel should be clear of, make the rules clear..

Moldy hallway and peeled wall. Stay away

The staffs are super wonderful. We stayed on the 3rd floor. Horrible moldy hallway with very bad peeling wall cover. We got upper respiratory infection returning from the trip. I would have given the hotel a super minus review if i could. The hotel lobby was adorned with strong perfume scent to masks the remaining moldy place.

Smoky Non-smoking room!

I booked the non-smoking room because I have bad allergies to cigarettes smoke. When turn on the aircon, I can smell the cigarette coming through the aircon system because it the combined aircon system. This is very irritating because the smell is very strong. When I asked to change the room, the reception said there is no other non-smoking room left! I have to stayed in this room with the smoking smell for 3 nights, so I have to turn of air-con from time to time!

Absolutely terrible room (4 rooms actually.) After arriving and entering the room I was stunned. I had to actally think about what was happening, take stock and make a quick decision to contact the front desk and tell them NO WAY! I then called my friend in the next room and he was in agreement, there would be no way we would be staying the 4 nights booked in these hotel rooms. The manage came up and asked what was wrong and I opened up the curtains and began to point out issue after issue. The head board was stained, the carpet stained, wallpaper peeling, worn furniture, exposed wire in the bathroom above the shower, dusty furniture, bad paint, old bathroom,,, etc,etc,etc. I have traveled quite a bit in SE Asia and Europe and the United States and the only other experience I can liken these rooms to were nasty motels along highways of the United States, worse! We were shown two other rooms but the same result. I was Not going to stay there, no way, Not for the money I paid, it was not a fair deal. This is where the customer service came into play. The manager, I wish I knew her name, she was the day manager on Monday October 16th, the day I checked in worked so hard to help us out and it finally came down to me telling them, "you need to get me into another hotel period." I was not the friendliest at that moment and at every point where I would have told me to go take a walk, she handled herself with dignity and compassion and never lost her cool. She got us another booking.

Questo hotel viene definito 5 stelle ma ad eccezione della reception, gli altri ambienti possono essere classificati a 3 stelle.Solo il personale di reception parla inglese fluente e abbiamo avuto sempre molta disponibilità e collaborazione per qualunque necessità.La nostra camera era al 3 piano e già uscendo dell'ascensore si notava la moquette ampiamente macchiata e non lavata.In camera la luce non è ottimale ma non è possibile lasciare le tende oscuranti aperte perche quelle bianche sono praticamente trasparenti. Tenendo le tende chiuse, è indispensabile accendere le abat-jours sulla scrivania e sui comodini che non consentono di raggiungere l'intensità necessaria: i paralumi sono gialli. In bagno, la manutenzione è pessima L'acqua della doccia esce dal perimetro e bagna il tappeto.Il muro dell'ingresso è pregno di infiltrazioni e il silicone è pieno di muffa come gli zoccoletti di legno a bordo pavimento. Le stoffe dei cuscini e del divanetto erano macchiate e il mobilio decisamente in cattivo stato. Alla nostra partenza abbiamo chiesto la breakfast box e in aeroporto abbiamo scoperto che due fette di pane non potevano essere spalmate col burro trovato insieme perche non c'erano le posate monouso e tanto meno i tovaglioli. La gestione del personale del ristorante è pressoché inesistente e abbiano notato che molti tendono a nascondersi anziché essere disponibili. Ho raccolto foto di quanto detto.
