"Hotel was good value for money - but no way is it a 4 star hotel - 3 maybe. Room was good - despite being close to the main restaurant/entertainment venue it had good sound proofing and was not disturbed. Wifi was OK - aircon was ok - but did not extend to bedroom - room safe worked - bathroom clean and OK Breakfast was pretty poor. "We just spent 4 nights at Iberostar. Would highly recommend this hotel, the staff were really friendly, plenty of activities to do for everyone. We went half board and they had a lot of choices (vegetarian/vegan) for both breakfast and dinner. I went with my 6 year old and he really enjoyed the water slides at the hotel. "My husband and I have just spent a wonderful 5 nights at Secrets Lanzarote. We opted to upgrade to Preferred Club (which I would recommend). We initially stayed in a double room but were very fortunate to be upgraded on our second day to a junior suite. Both rooms were lovely and not too much difference between them. The staff there are wonderful, extremely attentive, polite and friendly. The food was excellent and drinks included the premium spirits as part of the all inclusive package. The hotel is easy walking distance from the port where you'll find a range of good restaurants (Mumbai Masala was amazing!) and a water taxi to Puerto Del Carmen. It's a very quiet area, perfect for a relaxing holiday but you may find it too quiet if you prefer a bit of bustle and night life. There are cats who live at the hotel. They're very friendly if you interact with them but otherwise leave you alone. They are well looked after. Overall a fantastic holiday and we can see why people return time and time again. "
